There are 7 modern day ministry of Christ for His church. These are seven things Jesus is actually doing for us now! Remember that:
- Jesus seeks and saves the lost
- Jesus calls and empowers the called for evangelism
- Jesus heals and restores
- Jesus liberates
- Jesus justifies and glorifies
- Jesus intercedes
- Jesus sticks closer than a brother
Pray that Jesus will empower us to continue in the business of seeking and saving that which is lost
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost”. (Luke 19:10 KJV)
Pray that Jesus shall call and empower many for the work of ministry and evangelism
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:38-39 KJV)
Pray that Jesus will heal and restore you, your family, and city; there is balm in Gilead!
“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him”. (Acts 10:38 KJV)
Pray that Jesus shall liberate all that are held captive to addictions and weaknesses!
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36 KJV)
Pray that Jesus shall justify and glorify each of us for the blessings of God!
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” (Romans 8:28-30 KJV)
Pray and tap into the Jesus’ intercession for us!
“Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” (Romans 8:34 KJV)
Pray that Jesus will never leave nor forsake us; He sticks closer than any brother!
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear What man shall do unto me.” (Hebrews 13:5-6 KJV)
