I want to exhort you on the need to persist if you really want to see the Lord working things out for you. It is important to reiterate that God does not require of any man long prayers to receive; but a mortal man can receive from the supernatural realm when he is prepared and can meet the immortal at the supernatural level. The persistence prepares you to receive from divinity.
The scriptures is filled with many accounts of people whose seeming impossible situations was turned around when they got ready. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Whatever God has done before, he can and will do it again. Let us look at a few of the accounts that can inspire our faith and patience.
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: that ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Hebrews 6:11-12 KJV
The first account worth noting is the widow who secured vengeance against her adversary from the judge who feared no man nor God.
Some of us are dealing with situations that defy all authority and personalities. Your situation seem to be mocking you and your God. Sometimes, you literally feel that it’s a deal case. I came to announce to you that persist! The God of Luke 18 changes not. If he showed up for the widow, he will show up for you. May be you have been praying, and crying, and pushing; you have touched the eye of hell; don’t hold it, don’t stop. Just keeping pushing and pressing. Your break-through is nearer than it appears. Amen and amen!
Can you relate with the story of Bartemeus? He was the blind man who when he heard that Jesus is passing shouted and cried for mercy until the Lord stopped to help.
Today, another Bartemeus will get the attention of heaven. Can you cry, can you shout, can you ask for mercy? The son of David is here to stop for someone; and if that is you, shout Hallelujah! Jesus is passing this way again! It’s time to arise and shout!
Jesus will heed your cry as he heard the women who daughter he described as a dog.
Many years ago, a woman came to Jesus to find help because her daughter was sick and vexed by devils! The Lord retorted that he can not give the food of the children to dogs. The woman persisted and found favour. It is important to note that the Lord was only using a figure of speech here, but the woman’s response, moved heaven!
Today, may heaven see you, hear the cry of faith, and respond to you. Resolve to persist until you breakthrough! Heaven has respect for tough and resolved faith. If Jacob, the supplanter could receive a blessed by wrestling the angel of the Lord and persisted; you will also receive from heaven! Stay blessed and stay resolved. Help is on the way; it may linger but not stall.
Bless you!
