Psalm 150:6 KJV — “Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD“
The last admonishing at the end of 150 pslams of prayer and worship is “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” Let the living proclaim His goodness!
We want to learn to praise God with singing because
Praise is a sacrifice God is well pleased with
Hebrews 13:15-16 KJV — “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. [16] But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.“
Singing is a means of inspiring and speaking to one another
Ephesians 5:18-21 KJV — “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; [19] speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; [20] giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; [21] submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.“
Praises stir God to do wonders
Exodus 15:11 KJV — “Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?“
Praise and spiritual songs drive demons out
1 Samuel 16:23 KJV — “And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.“
Praising and worshipping God is a responsibility of all his saints
Psalm 95:6-7 KJV — “O come, let us worship and bow down: Let us kneel before the LORD our maker. [7] For he is our God; And we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice“
Stay blessed
