Isaiah 49:24-26 KJV — “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? [25] But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.”
[26] “And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.“
Without doubt, the prey shall not be taken from the mighty; neither shall the lawful captive be delivered. It is almost impossible to take the prey from the mighty nor the lawful captive be delivered from terrible without a stronger backing.
The prophet Isaiah indicated clearly that the Lord has declared that even the lawful captive of the mighty shall be delivered and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered; this is because;
The Lord has committed Himself to contend with them that contend with us; and will save our children.
I see the Lord contending for you. God Himself has spoken to stand for you. Believe me, God will fight for us.
The Lord has vowed to feed the flesh of our oppressors to them; they shall drink and be drunken with their blood as with wine.
Any enemy that rise against you shall be fed and be drunk with their blood as with wine. You will escape and the wicked shall be fed with their flesh.
The Lord has called and anointed both his son and messengers to preach deliverance to the captives
Luke 4:16-21 KJV — “And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. [17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,”
[18] “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,[19] To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”
[20] “And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. [21] And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.“
Stay blessed
