Romans 15:4 KJV — “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.“
Genesis 49:22-26 KJV — “Joseph is a fruitful bough, Even a fruitful bough by a well; Whose branches run over the wall: [23] The archers have sorely grieved him, And shot at him, and hated him:
[24] But his bow abode in strength, And the arms of his hands were made strong By the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (From thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) [25] Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; And by the Almighty, who shall bless thee With blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that lieth under, Blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
[26] The blessings of thy father Have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors Unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: They shall be on the head of Joseph, And on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.“
The devil is not satisfied until he has destroyed your clarity, courage, credibility, and communication. It is always imppetant to remember that the devil is after your vision and clarity; your confidence, faith, and patience; your credibility and consistency.
The devil knows that for the lack of vision and clarity, the people will cast off restraint and be destroyed
He is poised on distorting your vision. He knows that when you lose clarity, you will get messed up. What the enemy hated about Joseph was the fact that he had a clear vision of the destiny he needed to pursue. The adversary hates you for having a vision. The truth is when a person lacks a clear vision, even distractions are seen as opportunities. Proverbs 29:18 KJV Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
The devil knows that faith is the currency in the realm of the supernatural; he knows a double minded person is unstable in all of his ways, and can not receive anything of God
He will do everything to make you timid, undecided, afraid to act on your visions and aspirations. You have not received the spirit of fear to be timid, but of love, of power, and of a sound mind. The Lord told Joshua to be strong and courageous; it will take strength and courage to achieve anything worthwhile in life. The adversary will try to use many of the situations and circumstances to rob you of your courage and strength.
Joshua 1:6-7 KJV — Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. [7] Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
What you need is not just any courage or strength by the courage and the strength to walk in what you have been instructed in. Joshua needed the strength and courage to walk in the instructions of Moses the servant of God.
The Bible encourages us not to cast away our confidence, which has a great recompense of reward. The very day the devil gets you to lose hope and faith, you are doomed.
Hebrews 10:35-39 KJV — “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. [36] For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”
[37] “For yet a little while, And he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. [38] Now the just shall live by faith: But if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. [39] But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.“
I pray that your faith shall not fail. I pray that you will not allow anything happening around you, break your confidence and faith and focus! May you become steadfast and unmovable!
Luke 22:31-32 KJV — “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: [32] but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. )”
The devil will not be satisfied until he has killed your faith (your hope and aspirations). The very day you lose hope and become blinded to the things God is doing, the devil wins. That is why Jesus Christ prayed for Peter, that his faith will not fail. He wants to destroy your courage and confidence. The adversary wants to destroy your clarity and soundness of thoughts (he did this to John the Baptist).
Finally, the devil will go after your integrity and credibility
The adversary will do eveything to fight your integrity and credibility. He wants to cast doubt on your integrity and credibility. He wants people to doubt your credibility; don’t allow him!
When he could not get the faith of Joseph to fail, the adversary went after his credibility and integrity. I pray that you will not do anything that will make people that matter doubt your credibility. Integrity and credibility in this life is everything. May the Lord help and sustain you in these times of your life. The devil is after your credibility and integrity.
Stay blessed
