Don’t perish with the masses

Proverbs 29:18 KJV — Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

In a world that is filled with fleeting ideas and concepts, you will get destroyed without a godly vision. There is an avalanche of ideas being hurled at each of us; so many suggestions to grab and follow; but there is only one great vision that you must follow. As the saying goes, if you don’t know where you are going, any path leads somewhere.

The time has come for each of us to escape the pitfall of following the masses. We must understand where God is leading and what we are becoming by following Him. Your family and friends may not have any restrictions because they are obeying nothing; but you have a Lord and where He leads us is where you are going.

I exhort you to catch the vision and don’t perish with the masses. Allow God to lead you and don’t follow the masses. Allow your heart to be connected to His and don’t let the masses mislead you.

Three simple steps to catch the vision are:

1. Receive the Holy Spirit

God has promised that when He pours His Holy Spirit upon you, your young men and women shall see visions. The presence of the Holy Spirit brings revelation and understanding.

2. Ignite your spirit

The Bible teaches that the spirit of a man is the candle of the Lord. An ignited spirit catches godly visions. So much will change when we strive to catch godly visions.

3. Have your quiet time

In Habbakkuk 2:1-4, we understand that when you stand upon your watch, the Lord shows you things. Those who spend time daily in His presence have revelation.

May the Lord speak to your heart! May you catch visions and be directed by His Spirit. May you never lack revelation!

Prayer point

  • Father, I ask for the spirit of vision. Open my eyes to see where you are leading and what I am becoming by following
  • I pray that any force or power that will try to block the release of my revelation and visions will be rebuked. I decree the failure of any force that will try to distort my vision.
  • May the angel of the Lord bring us the relevant revelation and visions to advance forward faster

Stay blessed
