1 Corinthians 13:11 KJV — When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Growth may be natural but change isn’t. The young shall grow but the grown don’t naturally change. If you want to see your life changed, then you must be ready to change how you do these three things;
- How you speak
- How you understand
- How you think
You must be willing to put away childish things. You must allow the word of God to guide your steps. You must meditate on the facts of the things you hear. Three key things that must change if you are going to survive and succeed at the next stage in life is how you speak, understand, and think. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
We must be intentional about it. You must willingly put away childish things and embrace manly things. If you don’t endeavour to change, you will never see the transformation.
Prayer point
- Let us pray that God will give us the tongue of the learned, and make each of us quick with understanding. May the Lord help you to think as He does!
- Pray that you will have the courage and the power to make choices that reflect that change.
- May the Lord silence any power or force that strives to block and limit you from rising and manifesting the fullness of God.
