Galatians 4:19-20 KJV — My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, [20] I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
Many of us are struggling and find the Christian walk a challenge because we are trying to do things on our own which only God can do for us and in us. Any change and transformation you seek that does not start from within by the supernatural act of God will end in a struggle. The Bible says it is God who makes us willing and able to do His good pleasure. The change and transformation you seek must start with a supernatural work from within. Hence the need to pray that Christ will be formed in you.
Stop trying to be good on your own. Stop establishing your own righteousness! Stop doing it legally! When you believe, He gives you power to be a son of God. Receive that power to be a sons of God. Pray for that power. Trust God to start a work in you. He can do a better job in you when you are totally yielded to Him. May God hear our prayer today.
Let us learn to be children without malice, guile, hypocrisies and evil speaking. May we have a genuine desire for the sincere milk of the word as Apostle Peter recommends in 1 Peter 2:1-6. Let us pray and supplicate, now and the nights ahead, that Christ will be formed in us. Just pray and travail that Christ will be formed in you.
Prophetic Prayer and declaration
Father, I pray that You will begin the supernatural work of transformation in me. Make me willing and able to do Your good pleasure! May I receive power to be Your son! Create in me a clean heart and renew the right spirit within me. Uphold me with a free spirit and help me be more like You.
Amen
