The ministry of the Holy Spirit in you

John 14:16-17 KJV — And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [17] even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

The Holy Spirit has a three-fold ministry today: the ministry in the world, His ministry in you, and His ministry for you. We want to spend time today praying to activate and acknowledge the ministry of the Holy Spirit in us.

Pray that the Holy Spirit that dwells in you will bring the presence of God to you: In 1 Samuel 16:16-17, after Samuel anointed David, the Spirit of the Lord came upon him. The Bible tells us that God dwells in us by His Spirit. The Holy Spirit brings the presence of God to us.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will bring the power of God to you. You receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and that power works in you (See Ephesians 3:20).
Pray that the Holy Spirit will be his fruit in you, to enable you to live above human laws (See Galatians 5:22). When you are filled with the Holy Spirit he bears his fruit in you.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will bring the glory of God to your life. May he restore the glory of God back to your life. May He cause your face to shine.
Pray the Holy Spirit shall make you of a quick understanding. May He fill you with the seven spirits of God. May He lead you into all truth and make you mighty in work!
Pray that the Holy Spirit shall enhance your skills, talents and spiritual gifts. (Exodus 31:1-5) May God anoint you to enhance your gifts and talents and skills.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will give you utterance and help you to pray according to the will of God (See Romans 8:26). From today, you will pray according to the Spirit’s direction.
