Revelation 20:15 KJV — And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
There is only one requirement to escape the Lake of Fire; that is whether or not your name is in the book of life. You don’t need to do anything else other than trust Jesus Christ for eternal life. Your righteousness cannot save you but your faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ will.
I pray that you will be able to trust Jesus Christ for salvation and eternal life. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish. (John 3:16). We are saved by grace through faith, not of works. Your faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross is crucial to your salvation.
We are blood-washed and saved. Your work does not do anything to your salvation but rather prepares you a reward. God will reward the believer for the work we have done. Your work does not make you anymore saved than what your faith in Christ Jesus does.
I will encourage you to invite Jesus Christ into your life to come and live in your heart. With the hearth we believe, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Today is the day of salvation. Jesus Christ is the ransom that was given to redeem us from sin and bondage. Invite Him now! Invite Him into your heart and life.
You can invite Him through this simple prayer:
Father, I have heard your word that eternal life is a free gift that comes through Christ Jesus, your only begotten son. Today I believe that there is no other name by which men can be saved except Jesus Christ; I believe that He is your son, whom you sent to save the world. I confess with my mouth and invite Him to save me. Amen!
