Matthew 6:10 KJV — Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
There is no greater blessing and soft pillow than to know that you are in the will of God. Most often than not, it’s easier and comforting to walk in the midst of fire when you know it is the will of God; than to bathe in a pool made of gold. Knowing and walking in the will of God is so comforting and empowering.
In Matthew 6:10, Our Lord Jesus Christ exhorted His disciples to pray that the will of God will be done. What are the simple tips to pray about the will of God?
- Pray the prayer of submission. Let the Father know that you are fully yielded and submitted to His will. God will always reveal His will, when you show Him that you will be yielded and submitted to that will.
- Pray that God will show you His will as He did for the early fathers. May your eyes be enlightened to know and discern the will of God!
- Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead you into the will of God. As many as are led by the Spirit, they are the sons of God. Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead you into the will of the Father.
- Pray that the Father will teach and train you on how to be part of His will. Some people know what God is about to do but are completely oblivious to what role they play in God’s agenda.
- Pray and break an opposition and resistance to the fulfillment of the will of God concerning you, your family, career and faith. May you experience the best and walk in peace.
