4 types of friends everyone needs

Proverbs 18:24 MSG — Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family.

The scriptures teach that friends come and go but there is a friend that sticks by you like a family or brother. These are loyal friends who stick with you even through adversity. These are Job’s type of friends, who gather round on the bad and gloomy day. Everyone needs;

1. A friend that sticks closer than even a brother. You need friends who will stand by you when the lights are low and the crowd is thin.
2. A friend who calls upon God out of a pure heart. When we fall, we fall to the feet of those closest to us, hence the need to follow peace with those who call upon God out of a pure heart.
3. Friends who hold you accountable and pray for you. Your healing depends on who is praying for you according to the apostle James.
4. Friends who hold their pastor as a great example. You will not go far if you keep company with those who despise your pastor. Apostle Paul admonished the church to keep company with those who hold them as great examples.

You cannot make it alone, you need friends but you need quality friends. May the Lord bring in good people to sustain you and your faith.
