Hebrews 6:7-12 KJV — For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: [8] but that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
[9] But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. [10] For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
[11] And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: [12] that ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
One of the major secrets to blessing is being fruitful. Inasmuch as God wants us to be faithful, being faithful is not enough, you must be fruitful. The scripture above explains that unless you bear fruits profitable to those by whom you are tilled, you are nigh unto cursing. I pray that everyone of us will endeavor to bear profitable fruits.
I Pray that you will commit yourself to bear fruits that remain. Bearing fruits leads to;
Answered prayer:
When you bear fruits, the father answers your prayers more swiftly. The father loves branches and children that bear fruits; fruits that remain!
Unlocking blessings:
When you bear fruits, you unlock blessings upon your life. To Him that has more shall be given. There is a parable in the Bible told by our Lord Jesus Christ where a ruler travelled and gave talents to his servants to occupy till he comes; upon his return, he took the talent of the one who was not fruitful and gave it to the fruitful servant.
Greater care from the gardener:
In John 15, we learn that the branch of the vine that bears fruit, shall be pruned to bear more fruits. It is important to note that all it takes is to start bearing fruits no matter how little. The statement one good turn deserves another really applies here.
May we all arise and bear fruits that remain! You will not just be faithful but you will be fruitful to unlock greater blessings.
Today’s Prayer
- Lift up your voice and extol the name of the Lord in singing. Let us sing a new song until the Lord for his wonderful work in our lives.
- Pray that the Lord will establish each of us in the faith. pray that HighCity Church shall grow in leaps and bounds. Pray for the will of God to be done in the HighCity Church!
- Pray that the Lord shall supply all the wisdom and resources it takes to fulfill the great commission. Pray that God will make the great commission great again. Pray for supernatural supply!
- Lift up your voice and decree that any demonic power assigned to cause stagnation in your life shall be bound in the name of Jesus! You will not be staunted in your growth! You will be fruitful in all areas of your life! We decree and declare that you shall be fruitful and abounding in all that you do! May the Lord deliver you from evil and shame! May He lead you in the paths of righteousness!
- Arise and bless the Lord! Let us praise the Lord with singing!
