Jude 1:18-25 KJV — how that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. [19] These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
[20] But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, [21] keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
[22] And of some have compassion, making a difference: [23] and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
[24] Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, [25] to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
One key thing I want to drive home and into your spirit is the fact that we are living in the last days and you are going to have to walk in the way and with the Lord for decades. This shall not be a leisure walk in a park but a real spiritual warfare. If you can really finish that walk, then you must take hold of some master tips to navigate through this weary wilderness called life.
The simple steps to win in the walk called life include:
- Reminding yourself daily of the doctrine of the apostles. Remind yourself of the words of the apostles. There are warnings that have been stated and taught by the early fathers of the faith.
- Building up yourself on your most holy faith, especially praying in the holy Ghost! There are so many ways to build up yourself but if for nothing at all, pray in the Holy Ghost! Keep hearing by the word of God, pray and fast, exercise yourself unto godliness, and exercise your conscience to be void of offence towards God and towards men.
- Keep yourself in the love of God and look for the mercy of the Lord. No matter how hard you try, you will make it by the mercies of God! No man can make it by their smartness!
- You can only be effective in soul winning if you learn to have compassion on some, and others pulling out of fire; hating the garments spotted by the flesh.
The days are dangerous and only God can keep you safe and going through life.
