Psalm 1:1-3 KJV — “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [2] But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night. [3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.“
The blessed life begins with a choice: refuse the counsel of the ungodly, avoid the path of sinners, and reject the seat of the scornful. Compromise always starts small — what you listen to shapes how you think, and how you think shapes how you live. Guard your heart by guarding your company.
Instead, anchor your life in God’s Word. Meditate on it day and night until it shapes your decisions, attitudes, and responses. This is your personal responsibility — no one can do your Bible reading or obedience for you. God’s “rules of engagement” are your guide to victorious living.
Be strong and courageous! The world will try to sway you, but strength comes from knowing God’s promises, and courage grows when you trust His faithfulness. It takes boldness to stand apart, but it is worth it every time.
Then you’ll be like a tree planted by streams of water — rooted, fruitful, and unshaken by drought. Whatever you do will prosper, because you draw from the never-failing Source of life.
Stay blessed
