I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith — 2 Timothy 4:7
Paul’s testimony at the end of his life was that he had finished his course. That is the ultimate proof of momentum—not just starting but finishing. Many begin with excitement but drop off along the way because they lack endurance. Gathering momentum means not just running fast in the beginning but keeping the pace until the very end. God does not only reward starters; He rewards finishers.
Finishing strong requires focus, endurance, and determination. When challenges come, you do not quit; you keep pressing. When weariness comes, you lean on God’s strength. Spiritual momentum helps us to stay on course until the crown of righteousness is received. Like Paul, may we also declare at the end of our journey that we fought well, ran well, and kept the faith.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to finish well. May my spiritual momentum never fade, but keep growing until I see You face to face.
