“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3
As you approach 2026, take time to pray with intention, not rushing ahead, not clinging to the past, but placing your whole life before God.
Prayer isn’t just asking for outcomes; it’s aligning your heart with God’s will, trusting Him to shape you for what’s next. Come honestly, expectantly, and with a listening spirit.
As we prepare to step into 2026 with grace and power to scale, these are five areas of life you must handle in prayer before you crossover.
- Direction and purpose: Pray for clarity about who you’re becoming and where you’re headed, your gifts, your calling, and the steps you should take next, even if the full picture isn’t clear yet.
- Character and inner growth: Ask God to shape your heart: patience, humility, courage, discipline, kindness. Pray about habits or attitudes that need strengthening, or letting go.
- Relationships: Lift up family, friends, and future relationships. Pray for healing where things are strained, wisdom in who you trust, and the ability to love people well without losing yourself.
- Fears, worries, and unanswered questions: Bring the things you’re anxious about or avoiding, school, the future, expectations, mistakes, or doubts. Prayer is a place to be honest, not polished.
- Gratitude and trust for what’s ahead: Thank God for how far you’ve come so far, even if the journey hasn’t been easy. Pray for trust, especially for 2026 and beyond, believing that growth can happen even through uncertainty.
Stay blessed
