Mark 16:18 (KJV) — “They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
These words were spoken by Jesus as part of His final commission to believers. Healing was not presented as a special assignment for a few, but as a sign that follows those who believe.
Christ did not tell the sick to find experts, He empowered believers to act in faith. The laying on of hands is a simple but powerful expression of obedience, compassion, and confidence in the authority of Jesus’ name.
Healing is not rooted in our strength, eloquence, or status, but in His finished work. When we step out in faith, God steps in with power. The command is clear: do not be silent spectators, be active vessels. Wherever pain exists, God is looking for willing hands.
Prophetic Declaration
I declare in the name of Jesus:
My hands are anointed for healing.
Sickness bows to the authority of Christ in me. As I lay hands on the sick, they shall recover. Fear is broken, faith is released, and the power of God flows through me.
I walk boldly in obedience, and signs follow my belief.
Amen.
