Scripture:
Genesis 12:7 (KJV)“And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.”
Reflection
When God spoke to Abram in Genesis 12:7, He did not say, “I give you this land now.” He said, “Unto thy seed will I give this land.” The promise was real, but the possession was future. Abram was standing in the land, yet he would not personally own it. The vision was certain, but the fulfillment was scheduled. Heaven works with appointments.
Instead of complaining about delay, Abram built an altar. He chose worship over worry. He chose faith over frustration. He marked the place of promise with devotion, not doubt. Every God-given vision has an appointed time. Delay is not denial. If God has spoken, it will come to pass. Your responsibility is not to force fulfillment, but to build altars of obedience, consistency, and trust while you wait.
If the vision is from God: It may outlive you. It may stretch you, but it will not fail.
Stay faithful. The vision is scheduled.
Prayer Points
- Father, give me grace to trust Your timing when the promise seems delayed.
- Lord, help me build altars of worship and obedience while I wait for fulfillment.
- Establish every vision You have spoken over my life and let it manifest at its appointed time.
