Colossians 4:5 (KJV) – “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.”
The Bible calls believers to live wisely, especially in the presence of those outside the faith. Walking in wisdom means living intentionally and managing the opportunities God gives us. Those who learn to wisely manage time, space, and resources often stay ahead of their peers because they maximize every opportunity.
Time wasted cannot be recovered, space poorly used limits productivity, and resources mismanaged slow down progress. A wise believer, therefore, understands that every day is an opportunity to grow, serve, build, and make a positive impact for the Kingdom of God.
Action Steps
Practice simple time management habits that help you redeem the time. Plan your day early, setting clear priorities for what must be done. Avoid distractions and procrastination, focusing your energy on meaningful tasks.
Use your environment wisely by organizing your workspace and using available resources efficiently. When you discipline yourself to manage time, space, and resources well, you position yourself to stay ahead, become more productive, and represent Christ wisely before others.
