[1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV] “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
I have already taught that religion and faith is all about teaching you how to live and effective and and efficient life. We are aware that “… it is appointed unto man once to die and after death there is judgement”. All we are trying to do is to find effective and efficient ways to live our lives to the maximum and not to make a mess of our selves.
There are so many ways of killing a cat. There are so many ways to make it in life but there is a godly way to make it in life and to excel. Religion and faith is all about finding and living in the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.
We know that He has “given us all things that pertains to life and godliness”. We have that from Him. He has given it to us.
[2 Peter 1:1-4 KJV] “Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,”
“through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
After all is said and done, it is important to understand what matters:
- Be steadfast
- Unmovable
- Always abounding in the work of the Lord.
We were born, now we live, we shall die, and continue into the next world! May the Lord help us to advance and abound in the work of the Lord
