Advancing Change by Light

[Habakkuk 2:1-4 KJV] “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. [2] And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. [3] For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. [4] Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith”.

Watch, pray, recieve, publish, and live by faith. These are the simple keys to advancing transformation by light.

Watch:

You can become that change agent who will bring about massive change to your family, society, and country; when you learn to watch, observe, study, and take note of things and events happening around you. Habakkuk was awakened to pursue change when he observed the wickedness, drama and violence around him. One of the greatest secrets to advancing change and transformation is to be vigilant, studious and observant.

We must become a generation that ask intelligent questions. Enough of accepting everything that life throws at you. A lot will change when we learn to ask intelligent enquiry questions. You must be observant, investigate things that happen around you.

Pray:

The second secret to advancing transformation by light is to pray. When Daniel understood by the books, he stepped into prayer. He set his face to seek the Lord and to pray. I believe that prayer is a divine privilege that enables mortal men to find grace to help in the day of need. As we pray, we recieve strength, courage, and revelation to stand up to life. When we pray, God shows us great and mighty things which we know not (See Jeremiah 33:3)

Recieve:

We need a generation of men who can recieve from the supernatural realms. When men pray, we recieve revelations, power, grace, and understanding into great and mighty things. God is always speaking and we must be sensitive to His voice and understand by wisdom. Prayer is the channel to recieve great and mighty things from God. This is the time and season to recieve the blessing of revelation, power, grace and understanding.

Publish:

You cannot champion change and transform, until you make others around you see the picture. We must be a generation that write and cast vision. We must publish the visions we see the things we hear and handle. Our children and the next generation must be taught to understand and discern the vision. Vision casting is one of the assignments of leadership. We must cast vision and make sure that everyone around us know what the Lord is about to do and what we are becoming by following Him. You must publish what God shows you clearly.

The printed paper is always a legacy. What you are up to must be clearly written to ward off people who are not running in that direction. Publishing your vision increases our effectiveness significantly. It is my prayer that you will be able to publish the things God shows you.

Live by faith:

Finally, you can advance change and transformation when you act on the things you recieve. The vision is for an appointed time, hence the need to live by faith. We know that “the just shall live by faith”. You will have to live by faith if you are going to win. You must trust God, count on Him, hold Him to His word and live by that word.

For instance, I observed that many Christians are not seeing change in their lives and around them (that is watching); So I decided to pray and ask God for a way out (that is praying); Then he gave me the five point message you are going to preach, I recieved the five point message as a vision, an answer to prayer. These are important nuggets, a life saver (that is reception); So I wrote it on tables for you to read and go and preach it. That is you are running with it (that is publishing); and I am living my life in faith, hoping that the message will start a change in lives.
