“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.” (Acts 4:13-16 KJV)
I pray for you that this year, the Lord will give your results in all you do. I have come to know that there is no argument against results. The text we just read is the events following the man who was healed at the Beautiful gate
The scriptures teach us that after the man was healed, the apostles were dragged before the council of elders and questioned; but when the elders saw the notable miracle that had been done, they had no further argument. People may despise you as long as they cannot see your results. When people cannot see you results, they can speak big grammar, but when the results begin to show, the will shut up.
Results is everything; even those who hate you cannot destroy your tangible results. Your results will speak for you. There is no argument against tangible results. Results speak for itself. As a church and as individuals we must strive to get results. When people see the church, the business, and the marriage which God has built through us, they will shut up.
Instead of wasting precious energy making arguments and convincing scorners to stay, let us spend our energies on getting results. I want to spend my time getting results. I pray for strength, wisdom, money, power and influence to get results. Our results will settle every argument. Stay blessed!
