[Philippians 4:5 KJV] “Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.”
I have no doubt that we are all looking forward to the coming of the Lord; and if there is one thing that will help us to stay on course unto the coming of the Lord, it is moderation. Be moderate and let it be known!
What then does it mean to be moderate? It is to keep to the median or to be temperate. To be moderate is to be average in amount, intensity, quality, or degree.
The greatest wisdom to escape the traps of these end times as we wait for the coming of the Lord is to be average in your expectations of others and of life. Many of us are too high minded? Hence easily gets trapped. May the Lord help us to be humble and moderate in our demands and expectations.
The Lord wants us to be moderate in our demands and expectations. Godliness with contentment is great gain. We must learn to be moderate and God will overwhelm us with good things.
