[Genesis 1:26-28 KJV] “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.“
[Colossians 1:15-20 KJV] “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: [16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
[17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. [18] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
[19] For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; [20] And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.“
[Romans 8:29 KJV] “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
There is something you were created to be; you were created to represent God in the midst of His creation. That is the purpose of our lives, to look like and behave as God in the midst in His creation. You were both created and recreated after the fall to be as God in the midst of creature.
As the world is divided into continents (North American, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and oceans (Arctic, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, southern (Antartica)); the world is divided into seven mountains (Governance and politics, science and technology, trade and commerce, arts and entertainment, religion, family, education and training). These are the mountains and you must make impact wherever you are but;
- There are giants that occupy each mountain seeking to corrupt you
- It will take a battle to climb any of these mountains.
Here are seven steps to ascend any mountain
- Hear
- Believe
- Prepare
- Begin
- Continue
- Become
- Remember
Hear
Hearing is as important as seeing. You can only access what you see and know. Every great change begins with a great vision! What you hear and see and feel and taste and smell determines what you pursue. Most of us fail because we hang around failure and mediocrity. May the Lord empower your senses to recieve supernatural inputs and supply!
Faith we know comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
[Romans 10:17 KJV] “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Unction and miracles happen by the hearing of faith.
[Galatians 3:5 KJV] “He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”
Believe
As you attempt to Become all that God designed you to be, there will be failings, sickness, lack, battles, and problems; but your faith is your victory, your victory that overcomes the world.
[1 John 5:4 KJV] “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
- You were design with purpose and you are full of potential
- All ungodliness is a malfunction; you were created to be like God
- Sin will both rob you of glory and life. Sin brings shame and death!
- Anything you cannot do with righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost is not in the will of God!
Prepare
Many of us have failed and many more are struggling because we started at the time when we ought to be preparing.
A man who knows his master’s will, ought to prepare himself to fulfil it. Preparation is important, extremely important!
Begin
Everything begins with a step, a carefully thought through step; a step in faith!
- Begin by praying and seeking the peace of the city where live, work, and conduct your business.
- Then pray for all men and people in authority in your city, that you will have peace to operate as godly persons
- Set S.M.A.R.T and godly goals
- List all the possible ways to arrive at the goal
- Match you resources available to the possible ways to arrive at the goal
- Select the most workable strategy and pursue it with grace
- Start with what you have and where you are, and with who can help; but think global
Continue
In continuing, direction is more important than speed. Make sure you are heading in the right direction!
Become
In becoming;
- Focus on the vision
- Keep the morning watch
- Give life your best shot
- Don’t quit
- Celebrate what you have become and become what you have celebrated
- Plough back
- Follow your purpose not your passion
Remember
- Remember who you were when I picked you up
- Remember all the people by whom God has helped you
- Remember from where you have fallen, and rise and do the first works
- Remember what the Lord told where you were nothing in your own eyes
