[Acts 2:44-47 KJV] “And all that believed were together, and had all things common; [45] And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. [46] And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, [47] Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved”.
The Bible tells us that those who believed were together; they sold their possession and gave to the common good of the brotherhood.
The Bible tells us that the apostles seperated from those who were hardened: the writer narrates that when diverse were hardened, Apostle Paul departed from them and seperated the disciples. Bible says this continues for 2 years and all heard the gospel.
[Acts 19:8-11 KJV] “And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. [9] But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus. [10] And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. [11] And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
We can plant another church of the same kind in this or another city of the world if I depart from those who are hardened and seperate those who are willing to listen.
In the early church, it was either you conform or you were overlooked and they departed from you. We must be willing to restore order and sanctity or we loose the battle to the devil. We don’t have time and we cannot waste all the time. Time is running out!
If we are not careful, we may spend the rest of our lives polishing the same coins. Those who have ears to hear hear without much forcing. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned, so it takes more than just listening; you must discern also.
In building an organisation, church or even your own life, you must depart from all those who don’t believe as you believe. Everyone who does not believe as believe does to belong with us.
Blessed is the man who does not sit in the seat of the scornful nor on the way of the sinners, nor walk in the counsel of the ungodly. Your company will determine what will accompany you. Jehosaphat almost died in battle because of his association with Ahab (See 1 Kings 22). Listen! It’s dangerous to keep keeping those who don’t believe in what you are doing around you!
Strive for clarity of vision and stick with your clarity. You don’t need any man to believe or agree with you. You must believe.
Stay away from those who mock your vision!
Stay blessed, I love you
