[Revelation 14:13 KJV] “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them”.
The scriptures says that from now on blessed are the dead which die in Christ, because they shall rest from their labours and their works do follow them.
What then does it mean to die in the Lord? A person is said to have died in the Lord if at the point of death, he or she had believed in Christ and continued in the faith and in the way. People who have died in Christ are those who fight the good fight of Faith, finish the race, and die in full assurance of waiting for a crown. We are a fighting the good fight of Faith! You know that the walk of faith is a fight of faith, don’t you? We shall finish our course and keep the faith. Amen!
Two simple truths stand out in this piece of scripture we just read:
Firstly, everyone of us is fighting the battle of life, a battle that others may not know about. We are all fighting something that others are unaware of. The battle of health, marriage and relationship, money and business. Everyone of is fighting something so please let us be patient with each other. Indeed, when you die in Christ, you will rest from your labor. Don’t let what you are fighting stop you from faithfully continuing in the faith.
Secondly, everyone of us is doing something that will follow us into the afterlife. Whatever we do, whether in secret or in public shall be brought into judgment. Your works will follow you. Whenever you are making choices remember that your works shall follow you to the other side. Whether you do right or evil; whether we acted in public or in secret, the Bible tells us that God will bring everyman’s actions into judgment on the Last Day. The preacher says in Ecclesiastes that, “the whole duty of man is to fear the Lord and keep His commandments”.
Remember that blessed are those who die in the Lord, for they shall rest from their painful labour under heaven, and their works shall follow them.
Don’t throw in the towel no matter what happens, and be careful how you carry yourself throughout your short life. Stay blessed!

Oh God don’t let my battles in life stop me from dying in the Lord.
Grace me to deal with my sinful attitudes.
Help me God to pursue my faith to an expected end in Jesus Mighty name.
Amen!!!

Praise the Lord!
Truth well told, we are all in a battle that others may not know. I therefore need to be patient with others.
And above all, my choices will follow me to eternity.
I pray that the good Lord will help me to stand, fight and keep the faith to the end.
God bless you, Bishop.
