We have learnt that there are 5 factors that affect increase and growth;
- The environment in which you operate
- The company you keep
- Your attitude towards your core business
- Your connectedness and partnership with divinity
- The influence of the gates of hell
It is in this light that we have declared 7 Weeks of Victory over Satanic Powers. If we can indeed plant another church of the same kind in this or another city of the world, then we must arise and resist the gates of hell.
Today, we shall be dealing with controlling spirits. We are demanding victory over this satanic gate of oppression. Controlling spirit sap the energy out of life and literally paralyse us from advancing to the next level.
These controlling spirits manifest in three main dimensions;
1. Demonic possession:
Mark 5:1-20 tells the story of how demons wrecked the life of a man in Gadara. They drove him naked, to live in tombs, to cut himself with stones, and to act voilently. Demons and controlling spirits will wreck your life if you allow them.
2. Bewitching;
As spirits living in another person who tries to control you: Acts 16:6 reading downwards, Elymas tried to use sorcery to turn Sergius Paulus from the faith. You must be careful who you are connected to. Your company will determine what will accompany you. Ahab was messed up because of his marriage to Jezebel the witch. Do you remember that when Solomon married many wives, they turned his heart after their gods?
3. Territorial spirits or principalities over cities:
Do you remember Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8, he controlled Samaria with his sorcery and magic. The princes of Babylon, Medes and Persia kept Israel in bondage for 70 years.
Demons are demons! Whether they live in a person, another person or over a territory. Their work is to steal, kill, and/or destroy. Demons control to destroy. They influence and use their victims to their advantage.
May the Lord break the hold of every controlling spirit over your life as we soak in the word!
As you stand in worship, may the hold of darkness begin to lose now! The man of Gadara worshipped at the feet of Christ and as He spoke a word, the demons left him.
May you never return with any demons! May the Lord ignite in you a holy fire to terrify anything buying and selling in your life!
As we spend time in prayer and fasting; everything that represents darkness must pack and leave now!
As we spend time in prayer, may the Lord give you understanding! When Daniel prayed, an angel was sent to give him understanding. You will receive understanding!

Dear God,
I thank you for revelation! I rebuke every power of darkness and liberate my life and destiny from witches and wizards! In Jesus’ name!
