We want to spend today breaking the effects of spells, hexes and enchantments.
[Numbers 23:23 KJV] “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, Neither is there any divination against Israel: According to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!“
J believe that all things shall work together to the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. I have no doubt that every thing will work well for you. In fact, the God we serve shall work through all things that happens around you bring you to bring you to an expected end, as long as you honour Him.
One of the key things that try to fight the work of God in your life will be enchantment and spells cast on you. We want to spend today breaking the effects of spells and enchantments. In our anchor text above, the prophet is teaching that there is no enchantment nor divination against Jacob. You can break and subdue the effects of spells and enchantment! As we fast and pray today, we are trusting God to break the hold of spells and enchantment!
Is enchantment real? Can a Christian be bewitched?
Enchantment is real! And a Christian can be bewitched. The church in Galatia behaved so foolishly that Apostle Paul taught they were bewitched.
“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?” (Galatians 3:1 KJV)
Enchantment is real, the whole city of Samaria was bewitched by Simon the Sorcerer. He had bewitched the whole city with sorcery.
“But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.” (Acts 8:9-11 KJV)
What is a spell or enchantment?
A spell is a series of words that have magical powers. If you’re under a spell, then what you do is out of your control — your thoughts and actions are dictated by the spell.
There are many people who are under spells or enchantment. They behave as though they are controlled or possessed. I decree that any spell placed on you to cause you not to obey the truth be broken in the name of Jesus Christ!
How can spells and hexes be broken?
The only way to break spells and hexes is through an encounter with the preaching of the gospel and the power of God. A single encounter with the power of God can break the hold of darkness and cause the scales to fall off your eyes.
