The church is a fellowship of believers and hence the church is not just a building but a spiritual house or sanctuary from where sacrifice and ministry flows. We are the lively stones that are built up into this spiritual house. We are the building blocks. Therefore if the Lord promised to build His church, then we understand that it’s a promise to build up you and I.
As we have come to the Lord, we can rest assured that He will build us up. He will give us the “things that pertain to life and godliness” (2 Peter 1:3). You will not lack any good thing that will take you far. God will take you to the next level. He will build us. God will reinforce us spiritually to withstand every attack of hell. Hell can not prevail. We shall not be lost. God’s mighty hand will prevail and keep us going.
I exhort you to walk in that faith and press on gallantly. Nothing shall bring you down. As we focus and plant churches, as we step out and preach the gospel, Jesus Christ will build us up. He promised and His promises are sacred. “His promises are yea and amen.” (2 Corinthians 1:20)
May the Lord build you with grace and mercy! May He take you higher! May you never fail! May you continue to humble your heart and mind, and follow as He takes you far.
