Many of us are struggling to see the hand of God because we are focused on the wrong thing. In the realms of the spirit, faith is the medium of exchange. Faith is what puts a demand on God. Running after signs is like spending all your time moving from one car shop to another, hoping that one day you will own one.
In fact, if your really want to own a car, you don’t spend all your time window shopping; you rather spend your time looking for the purchasing power. When you get the money, you will find a car to buy. Let us rather spend our time building our faith.
We must build our faith; faith is what will deliver the miracles and signs and wonders. If you don’t build your faith, you might spend over 38 years by a pool hoping to get well. Once you faith is built up, you can hope against hope. You can recieve massively beyond your own imagination.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God:
Romans 10:17 teaches that hearing by the word of God is the master key to building faith.
Pray with ceasing:
Luke 18 teaches that prayer builds faith. Prayer builds faith and releases strength to press on. People who pray recieve strength to continue and press forward. When we pray, we become one with God especially when we pray according to His will.
Speak the word to yourself:
The woman with the issue of blood said within herself “If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole” (Matthew 9:21) and she acted on her word. When we learn to speak the word of God, we build faith to recieve the goodness of the Lord. Speaking is powerful, especially speaking by the word of God. That is how you build faith.
Remove from you anything that reinforces your doubt:
Indeed even in the midst faith, there may be doubt. I pray that you will be smart enough to put far away from your doubt. Remove from you anything that creates and reinforces doubt. I tell you the truth, your faith must stand even in the valley deep and terrible.
Today, I came to exhort you to build your faith instead of seeking miracles and signs. When you build you faith, that faith will deliver great miracles and signs. Don’t spend 38 years of your life waiting for a miracle, spend those years building your faith.
