We want to study key things that influence church growth; these are the key factors that can influence the growth of any church.
1. The active presence of God among us:
The mighty manifestations of God among us is one of the first attractions of seekers. When Moses saw the burning bush, he drew near. When seekers see the mighty manifestations of God among us they will be attracted!
That is why the manifestations of the spirit are given us to profit withal. It is time to pray that God will manifest and demonstrate his presence and power among us. Remember, people are looking for solutions; they are looking for answers and Jesus is that answer!
2. Publicity and evangelism:
The second influencer of church Growth is publicity and evangelism. A city set on a hill can not be hidden. We must shine and show ourselves. We must increase the publicity and evangelism! Let us reach out more and more. Let us do the work of an evangelist! We must take our ministry on television, radio, literature, online, and in our communities seriously.
3. Member commitment to continue in the faith, connect with the community, and contribute to growth:
This is one of the key influencers of growth. Our commitment to growth. The shepherd does not give birth to calves and kids; it is the sheep and goats!
4. The ambience at the church:
The church building, the place of worship, and the total ambience. We must pay attention to all that; it matters these days; men look on the outward; let us improve the church ambience and environment!
5. The worship and the teaching:
Many seekers will be attracted to worship and teaching that is authentic, relevant, uplifting, and inspiring. Let us pay attention to the worship and teaching, pay attention to the costuming and ministration.
6. Your budget, size, and your base:
Money plays a very important role in modern ministry. So many things are not free anymore and being able to raise support and finance has a great impact on growth. We need to pray for partners and workers. We need good money to do ministry!
7. Systems and structures to support the growth:
Acts 6:1-10 teaches that we should have systems, structures, programmes, and staff to support the growth.
