[Ezekiel 47:1-5 KJV] “Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.”
“Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.”
“And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees.”
“Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins. Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.“
No matter how anointed you feel, there are deeper depths of the anointing and spirit to explore. Never feel accomplished spiritually because there are depths to explore. The prophet said “the angel measured a thousand cubits and asked me come.. and it came to my ankles”. There are at least four depths of spirituality.
- The ankle level; At this level you are in the spirit but not spirit led. It is very difficult for the Holy Ghost to lead you at this stage of spirituality!
- The knee level; At this level the flesh still has a lot of control but you are enjoying the sweet influences of the Holy Ghost. You feel the spirit trying to control and influence you.
- The loins level; At the loins level, the spirit begins to lead you more. This is when you feel more spiritual and spirit-led.
- The uncontrolled; At this stage you are fully spirit led. You seed control to the Holy Ghost. The spirit begins to gain control.
The fourth depth is a whole mystery on its own. At the fourth depth of spirituality, you lose control of yourself. This is a depth to swim. This is when the Holy Ghost takes over.
There are three key things to note;
- The water of the spirit flows from the temple or church. Your encounters for deeper depth starts and ends with men.
- How you see things change when you have deeper encounters with the flow of the spirit.
- The waters of the spirits heals the places it flows to. There is healing in the spirit. There is healing in the waters and the flow.
- The places that encounter the waters of the spirit become fruitful. Fruitfulness begins when the spirit is poured!
I have no doubt that after a deeper spiritual encounter, your land and banks shall be fruitful. Your trees shall yield in its strength.
Desire deeper depths and spend prolong times in the presence of God. Those who desire deeper deaths must spend prolong times in His presence and be totally yielded to His will. This is the secret to deeper spititual depths.
