Bullying is becoming a global challenge; a human rights issue across the globe. People everywhere bully one another as long as they can. One of the greatest challenges of this end-time and age will be people trying to bully and looking down on younger preachers.
(1 Timothy 4:12-13 KJV) “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.”
Timothy was a young minister who had been ordained by the Apostle Paul. In a letter to him later on, the apostle admonished him to stand his ground and not allow any man to despise and bully him because he is a youth. Today, I am sharing the same word with you. As you go to work, to school, in the street and everywhere; don’t let anyone; black or white, great or small, learned or illiterate bully you.
No man can despise or bully you; if you don’t allow it. How you speak, what you say, what and how you love, what you believe and the spirit in you will determine whether people will honour or despise you. If you are always hanging out in street corners and idling about, people will despise you. If you set no goals nor pursue any, people will despise you. Your words, lifestyle, and manner of speech must connote honour, honesty, and integrity. People must see your maturity, not your age.
Three simple things that can transform your life and help you to live a life that is above reproach and bullying is;
1. Read for 10 to 20 minutes every day:
Readers are leaders; as we begin the reading revolution, we will begin to lead. Read my daily devotion. They are seed for health, wealth and salvation.
2. Listen to a faith-filled message daily:
Find time and listen to my podcast. Go to highcity.org and click on the podcast tab; you can download or stream a message to listen.
3. Think positively:
Think as the word of God. Do not allow negative thoughts. Refine your thinking and you will lead your generation.
These are the three things you should spend your time on, not on funny videos and junk. You may not have what they have; neither do you need what they have. You are still you and deserve all honour. You don’t need anything; just don’t give any man a reason to despise you. You are blessed; stay blessed.
I love you!
