[Romans 12:3 KJV] “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.“
It is important to understand that at new birth, God deals to every man the measure of faith; but that measure of faith standing alone is not enough for all things. We must grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
To develop an overcoming faith by growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ, you must follow the next steps;
- Decide and commit yourself to attend church services; this is where you will be taught the word of God and reinforced to grow.
- Read your Bible and pray everyday; it is in the word that the will and righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith.
- Continue steadfastly in the doctrine; you will be transformed by the renewing of your mind by the truth
- Study to do your own business quietly.
- Give; this is because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- Serve; the greatest among us must be the servant.
- Look for the appearing of the Lord
