Philippians 2:14-16 KJV – Do all things without murmurings and disputings: [15] that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; [16] holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
It’s Wednesday and a weekday of work; there are great lessons I have learned as a child of God; that I must learn to do all things without murmuring. Murmuring is a killer and maims good effort. Resolving to do all things without murmuring will help you to remain loyal and faithful.
It’s important to understand that you live and operate in a crooked and perverse world. It is very easy to get bitter and offended and complain. The only secret to being blameless and harmless children of God without rebuke is to resolve to do all things without murmuring. You must resolve to do the best you can; give your best and strive to do all things without murmuring.
Murmuring demoralizes others; murmuring will kill your joy and poison others; murmuring won’t allow you to be grateful for the good things of life. Those murmuring are always focussed on the negatives, without seeing the best of life. You could have so much going for you but you will complain because you focus on the negative.
As you wake up today to life, be grateful for the little gifts that life brings. Be thankful for the gift of life, sights and hearing. Be thankful that you have work to go to; others are praying to have what you have. Godliness with contentment is a great gain. May God help us to see the best in every situation and be thankful.
Prophetic Prayer and Declaration
Father, thank You for the gift of life. I am grateful that I am alive to see today. I know that all things are working together to my good. Even the challenging circumstances are the training grounds for me. I will win and excel. The wickedness around me will not change my godly and good nature. I am a blameless, harmless child of God without rebuke. Amen
