I want to exhort you on the theme of prayer. We want to discuss and understand how to increase the effectiveness and power of prayer. Many people do not pray consistently and effectively because they don’t know how to. I want to outline 5 simple hints to make everyday prayer easy for every man or woman. I pray that you will discover the joy of prayer as we demolish the barriers to the massive growth of the church.

The following will help you if you desire to increase the power and effectiveness of prayer;

1. Start and end each day with prayer:

Most often than not, if you don’t find time to pray before your day starts, you may never have the time to pray. That is why most effective prayer giants pray first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

Mark 1:35 reveals very clearly that Jesus prayed early in the morning before sunrise; and late at night when the multitudes have left. You must form the habit of praying for direction in the morning; and for protection and forgiveness at night. When you wake up in the morning ask the Lord to lead you as a cloud by day; then at night ask him to send His angels as fire to encamp and encapsulate you.

Start and end your day with prayer

2. Prepare and keep to a prayer plan:

You always pray better when you have a prayer plan. You can draw a simple prayer plan by making a list of things or areas of your life you want to speak to God about the next time you come to Him in prayer.

Then find words in the Scriptures that shed light on your request, and some songs of the Lord in your mouth

[Psalm 149:4-7 KJV] “For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. [5] Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. [6] Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; [7] To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

Prayer is easier when you have a plan and keep to it.

Depend on the word and spiritual songs for flow: Psalm 149 teaches that when we let the high praises of God pour out of our mouths, and take the two-edged sword in our hands we can execute the judgement that is written about kings and the heathen. Let the songs and word of the Lord accompany your prayer. 4. Acknowledge that the Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the church are all interceding for you: Fourthly, admit that the Lord, the Spirit and the bride are interceding for you. That is why your prayers will work. Romans 8:28 teaches that the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us; the Bible tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ is also interceding for us; 1 Timothy 2:1-3 teaches that the church is also praying for the world. Your prayer will work; I have no doubts. 5. Believe that God is working on your case even if you don't see or feel it: Finally, you can transform your prayer life when you understand that God is working on your case, even behind the scenes. Whether you can feel Him doing so or not, God is always working on your request. The Bible teaches that whatsoever we shall ask in His name He shall do it for us. Your prayers will transform many things in your life and I see the change coming. May the Lord help and transform your life by prayer. I love you Pastor Simpe Bediako
