Mark 5:18-20 KJV — And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. [19] Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. [20] And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
The lesson is simple. Don’t be afraid to tell others about Jesus and what He has done for you. Don’t be intimidated!
Your testimony strengthens your loyalty
Most people who become disloyal to the faith and the Lord shy from telling people who the Lord is and what He has done for them. When you share your testimony, you are always reminded of where you have come from and what the Lord did for you. As the man went telling everyone what the. Lord has done, he is strengthening his own faith.
Your testimony overcomes the wicked
The Bible says “they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony.” Your testimony is a tool by which you overcome the enemy. Instead of focusing on what is not working, why not focus on what the Lord has done.
Your testimony inspires faith in others
We know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Your testimony inspires the people who hear to believe and experience their own miracles too.
Any voice that stops you from sharing your testimony is the voice of the devil. When you share your testimony, you strengthen your own convictions and spread faith around the world.
Benediction
May the Lord inspire you to share your faith! May you find great grace and conviction in the testimonies of others! May you never lack a testimony to share. May God do what no man can do in your life!
Stay blessed!
