[Daniel 11:29-35 KJV] “At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.”
“And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
“And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help:”
“but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.”
[2 Thessalonians 2:7-15 KJV] “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”
“even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
“But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:”
“whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.”
The Scriptures inform us both in Daniel 11 and in 2 Thessalonians 2 that in the last days perilous times will come.
- The church will be persecuted,
- many shall fall away from the faith,
- sin and abomination shall be promoted right in the House of God, rather than the true worship of God.
The Scriptures, however, go forward to teach the following simple tips to survive and excel by faith in the last day;
- Love the truth and let the love of the truth be in you. Don’t ever do wickedly against the covenant. Let the love of the truth be in you. You must not run after flatteries . The days are dangerous and we must wake up.
- Know your God; know God on a personal level. This is because you can no longer rely on the Pulpit to lead you God-ward. Some of the people who will promote the abomination that causes desolation shall be pastors and apostle and teachers, and prophets who have been corrupt by the man of sin. You must know God for yourself.
- Don’t be ignorant of the devices of the enemy. The enemy wants to set a new agenda for the church. I saw the Spirit of Jezebel enter the church and pollute the pulpit. We will not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy.
- Don’t expect too much help. The Scriptures say those who fall but still have a good heart shall be helped with a little help. These last days shall be days when everyone is facing something, hence the need to be satisfied with a little help you recieve. Even God will give hell but just a little, because the reason some are falling is so that they may be purged from among the people of God. You must learn how to encourage yourself in the Lord.
- Be ready to endure and overcome to the end. This is your trump card. You must endure if you want the crown of life that God has prepared for those who love Him.
These are the four secrets to survive these very last days by faith.
