Called To Inspire Faith And Hope And Love

Our calling is to go into the world and inspire men everywhere to believehope and love.

Today’s Reading

Church-in-Accra

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its taste (purpose), how can it be made salty? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and walked on by people [when the walkways are wet and slippery].

“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;

nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:1316 AMP)

We are the salt of the Earth and the light of the world, a generation of men called to inspire faith and hope and love in a hopeless and turbulent world. After all, living comes down to three simple things; faith and hope and love. Living the life of faith is simply to trust God steadily, to hope unswervingly, and to love extravagantly.

Glory to God! We are called to inspire all men everywhere to believe and hope and love. Indeed, we all face challenges and uncertainties in our pursuit of godly goals but as we continue to trust God steadily, hope unswervingly and love extravagantly; we shall overcome and our testimony shall inspire others.

In this Year of Gathering, I pray that you will allow God to ignite you, give your light and illumination.

I pray that you will be connected to the candlestick, that you will be connected to the church more faithfully.

It is my prayer for you that you will be positioned strategically that as you sacrifice, as you burn and give your all; your results will inspire and give light for others to believe, hope and love.

The bible tells us that none can inspire faith and hope and love until they themselves are enlightenedconnectedpositioned and burning with divine fire.

The watch words for us in this Year of Gathering; as we step into blessing, enlargement, divine presence and providence are:

  1. Worship
  2. Fellowship
  3. Work
  4. Volunteer

We will be committed to our worship, fellowship, work, and volunteer in church, in the community and around the word.

We would worship, fellowship, work and volunteer to teach the nations all that Christ taught us (Matthew 28:18-20); to preach the gospel (Mark 16:14-20); to preach repentance and the remission of sins (Luke 24:44-53); to do greater works of visiting the prisons, widows and fatherless in their afflictions (John 14: 12); to testify of the resurrection power (Acts 10:34-39).

Receive the grace to fulfill your mandate!

Amen!
