Fight the good fight of faith

[1 Timothy 6:11‭-‬12 KJV] “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.“

There are four things Apostle Paul is encouraging us to do:

1. Flee the quest and craze to be rich
2. Follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness
3. Fight the good fight of faith
4. Lay hold on to eternal life

How do we fight the good fight? One way to fight the good fight of faith is by prayer. This is the time to pray and work hard towards goals: we will be praying earnestly today.

1. Lift up your voice and bless the name of the Lord for grace and mercy. Thank God and bless His holy name.
2. Pray that the Lord will help you to be a good Christian. Pray for strength and grace.
3. Pray that you will be led by the Holy Spirit to be in the will of God. Pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit!
4. Pray that the Holy Spirit will maintain fellowship with you. May He make His abode with you.
5. Pray that you will bear the fruit of the spirit. Shall we pray! Pray!
6. Pray that the Lord will help you enter into the ministry. I know many are called but you must pray that you will enter into ministry. Pray!
7. Pray that the Lord will help you stay in your calling. Many have loved the present world and forsaken their calling, like Demas. Pray that you will stay in your calling
