I am exhorting you today to fight the good right of faith.
[1 Timothy 6:12 KJV] “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.“
I have been teaching you lately about how to live with eternity in mind. We are making a journey in this life to the life to come. When all is said and done, everyone of us may die and face the judgment of God. When we shall rise again, some will rise to eternal peace and joy and others to fear, gnashing of teeth and pain.
As you make your journey with Jesus, the devil and the world is seriously trying to pull you down. You are an enemy of the devil, you’re his prime target. He wants you to fail and fall. There are many temptations and evil projected against you. The enemy wants to destroy you. He is poised to trap and kill you. This is the time to fight the good fight of faith! You must strive to lay hold on eternal life. Don’t let anyone rob you of your crown. Strive and press on to towards the mark of the calling.
The Lord has not called you to engage in every fight. Some of the fights are mere distractions; but others are fights that must be fought. You must fight the good fight of faith. You must war by prophecy. You must fight anything that tries to make you disregard the word of God. Fight to obey and fight to finish your course.
May you recieve strength to fight and to win! May the Lord train your fingers to fight and your arm to war! May you not fail! Fight the good fight of faith! Have dominion over the powers of darkness! May the Lord preserve and keep you safe in the name of Jesus Christ! Never give up! Don’t quit! Keep fighting! You will win! Amen
