[Philippians 4:15-20 KJV] “Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. [16] For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. [17] Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. [18] But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. [19] But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. [20] Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen”.
We have been studying the secrets that will help us to finish well and finish strong, and one of such secrets to having supernatural supply. Poverty and lack have a way of making you dishonest and crooked. The Lord gives His people the power to make wealth, that He might establish His covenant with them. You need a certain amount of resource flow to be able to live a decent life and to be honest towards those who are outside the faith.
It is almost impossible to live an honest life without an honest source of income. We all need a constant supply to stay alive. We need the supply of food, clothes, shelter, and a means of commuting. Maybe in smaller towns and villages, a means of commuting may not be a necessity, but not in modern cities. We, therefore, want to understand how to invoke supernatural supply;
What is supernatural supply?
Supernatural supply is any supernatural resource flow to a man that defies the principles and theories of natural economics. The prophet came to the city and said: “tomorrow by this time, a barley of wheat shall be sold for a shekel”. There was no economic theory that could support such a claim, but did it happen or not?
Supernatural supply is that resource flow that defies economic theories; it can’t be explained by economics. How can any economist explain how 5000 men and their families could feed on 5 loaves of bread and 3 fishes. It is beyond human comprehension.
I believe God wants us to operate in that realm of supply. God wants us to have more than enough so that we can support others and give to kingdom business. God wants to transform our finances, hence the need to learn how to activate the supernatural supply.
How shall it happen?
According to the text above, the simple secret to invoke supernatural supply is to become a partner with a church-planting church. It is important to state that the core mandate of the church is plant churches. That is what we have been called to do. We are called and anointed to go into the world and preach the gospel.
In the text above, Apostle Paul tells us about the beginning of the gospel. That is to say, there is a time when the gospel begins. For us, this is such a time. When we can step out into the highways and hedges and preach the gospel.
The three simple things you can do to partner with such a vision (mandate) and calling is to Pray|Give|and Go!
The work of missions and the preaching of the gospel requires three key things: Prayer, Resources, and Personnel.
We need resources to finance Publicity, Transport and Logistics, Lodging and Feeding, and other miscellaneous expenses.
I pray for you that you shall be willing to partner with this church planting church as we begin the gospel. This is the simple secret to invoke supernatural supply. When we begin to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all the things the world seek after shall be added unto us.
Be blessed, I love you!
