[James 5:7 KJV] “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.“
I want to exhort you to give things time. Beware of feeling pressured to act. He that is in a haste to be rich shall not be innocent. I don’t fully understand what you are faced with, but one thing is true; there is a time appointed for every purpose. I have been there before when I felt like speeding things up but the Lord restrained me. He impressed upon my heart to give things time.
You know what?
Many good things take time to mature
Indeed, there are just a few truly precious things that happen like a flash. Many good things take time to perfect and mature
Give it time because there is a time and a season appointed for every thing
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV)
Give it some time, and work on it
We learn from the parable of the fig tree, that many things heal and do well when you give them some time and work on them. The gardener requested for some time for the unfruitful fig tree.
“He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?”
“And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: and if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.” (Luke 13:6-9 KJV)
Give it some time; time reveals and time heals
In the parable of wheat and tares, we learn that time will both reveal and heal. There are many decisions that must not be made in a rush. For example, who to marry, whether you must divorce or not, whether to leave or stay. When people start acting weird, just give them some time. When you give it time; motives will sooner than later be clear.
Sometimes, just withhold privileges and observe attitude!Simpe Bediako
Remember to give things and people time, while you work on it!
Give that marriage some time and work on it! Give the business some time and work on it! Give that relationship some time and work on it.
Stay blessed
