Exodus 14:13–14 (KJV) — “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD… The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
Israel stood trapped between the Red Sea and the pursuing Egyptian army. Fear gripped the people. There was no weapon, no escape route, and no human solution. At that critical moment, God spoke through Moses, not to fight, not to run, but to trust. What looked like the end became the stage for God’s mighty intervention.
There are moments in life when your strength is exhausted and your options are limited. In such seasons, God does not require noise, panic, or struggle, He requires faith. When you stand still in obedience, God steps in with power. The battle you are facing is not yours to fight; it is the Lord’s.
3 Key Notes:
- Fear silences faith, but trust releases deliverance – God’s instruction begins with “Fear not.” Faith is the doorway to victory.
- Standing still is an act of spiritual strength – Waiting on God is not weakness; it is confidence in His sovereignty.
- God fights completely and finally – The enemies Israel feared were destroyed forever. When God fights for you, He settles the matter.
Be still. Hold your peace. Watch the Lord fight for you.
