[11] “But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry; [12] Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith. [13] And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not”.

[14] “I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. [15] For some are already turned aside after Satan. [16] If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed”.

In this study I want to share with you timeless lessons and guidelines for Christian women. These are truth that must guide your conduct and decisions. I am, therefore, speaking on how every young woman is supposed to live.

The scriptures states clearly that no Christian woman should be allowed to take an oath of celibacy, unless they are over 60 years old.

There is nothing wrong with you if you dont want to marry. It is absolutely your decision, but you should not take an oath. Apostle Paul is not saying that every young woman should marry; he is only saying that no young woman, never married, divorce, or widowed, should be allowed to take an oath of celibacy. Rather, every woman in the church less than 60 years old should be encouraged to engage in the following;

1. Marry:

You have a choice to stay unmarried or marry but don’t take an oath. The scriptures is clear that if you take an oath and go back on your words you will fall into damnation, because you have cast off your first faith. Keep the love and marriage lines open, even if you are not ready for now. Who knows? You may find love in an unusual place.

2. Bear children:

I pray that God will open the womb of every married bride in the church to bear children. I speak over those whose childbirth has delayed, that the Lord shall hasten His word to perform. Never say the door is closed, the God of Sarah and Elizabeth is still our God. He is able to make a way where there is no way. He makes rivers to flow in the desert, let us keep trusting. I pray thst every women who is married shall conceive and bear their own children in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

3. Guide the house:

The third hint for young women is to learn how to guide a home. Every young woman must be trained on how to guide a home. You must develop house keeping skills whether you live alone or with your husband. You must learn how to run a home.

4. Follow every good work:

Every young woman must be encouraged to follow good works. Good works for a woman is to bring up children, lodge strangers, wash the feet of the saints, and relieve the afflicted. Every young woman ought to learn how to serve. You must serve both at home and in the church. You will do well when you follow every good work. This is how you excel.

5. Not be idle:

Finally, a young woman should not be idle. You must be hard working. Signs of being idle is to be moving from house to house, being a tattler, busybodying, and speaking things you ought not to. The young woman must stay home, she must learn to read more and talk less, and possibly develop a career.

In conclusion, younger women must, therefore, marry, bear children, guide homes, follow every good work, and be hardworking.
