[1 Samuel 30:6-8 KJV] “And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod.”
“And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David. And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.“
Listen! Life is such that as you journey through it your feets collect dust. There are times when you grow weary and tired. There are times when life steals value from your life. David and his men, like many of us, had lost certain things in life. Their wives and children were carried away and they wept till there was no strength to weep again; it was however not a hopeless situation; David pursued and was able to recover all!
The four simple steps to recover all from the enemy:
- Admit there is a limit to what your wits can achieve
- Learn to encourage yourself in the Lord
- Enquire of the Lord
- Pursue as commanded by the Lord
It is possible to recover all. It is possible to take back whatever the enemy stole from you. You can recover, if you are determined to. This is the time to pursue and recover all. I decree that nothing shall be lost. You will and must recover all. This is the time! The time to recover!!
