The way you start your day will determine how the day goes, most often. Starting your day right matters. I want to exhort you on how to start your day right.
Th prophet Isaiah spoke of how he was able to speak a word in season to the weary. He was able to speak a word in season because he heard a word in season every morning. May the Lord awaken your ears morning by morning to teach and develop your skill.
The Apostle Mark, gives an account of the Lord Jesus, he showed how he woke up early in the morning to pray. Seeking the Lord daily and seeking H0im early is important.
Mark 1:35-39 MSG — [35-37] “While it was still night, way before dawn, he got up and went out to a secluded spot and prayed. Simon and those with him went looking for him. They found him and said, “Everybody’s looking for you.”
[38-39] “Jesus said, “Let’s go to the rest of the villages so I can preach there also. This is why I’ve come.” He went to their meeting places all through Galilee, preaching and throwing out the demons.“
Our Lord Jesus Christ leaves us an example of how to start your your day right. In summary, I will suggest that you do the following 6 things;
- Wake up early before day break
- Drink water and stretch your muscles
- Get a quiet place and pray (Read your Bible, Pray, and Listen to a message)
- Set goals and plan for the day
- Shower and take breakfast
- Hit the road for work
God bless you and may you see great transformation and progress as we commit to start our day right!
