I Shall Tread upon Serpents and Scorpions

We are going to take the bull by the horn and punish all disobedience now! We are going to exercise our authority as believers and fight until we take the victory that was worked for us on the cross.

[Luke 10:17‭-‬21 KJV] “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight”.

We are going to thread on three things: serpents, scorpions, and over every power of the enemy! These are three creepy things that are unleashed by Satan to hurt those who keep the testimony of the Lord. These are satanic powers and they are real, but more real is the power of God to crush them. We cannot take them for granted because these are real satanic powers.

I pray that the Lord will help each of us to crush underfoot every creepy thing in our lives. May of we not play around with these creepy things. This is the time to disallow every satanic power and its operations around you. You can rise above silly rebellion. This is the time to kick the devil out.

Simple secrets that will help you to escape any backlash and not be as the sons of Sceva is to make sure that;

1. Your name is written in the book of life:

You must believe and receive the power to be a son of God. You must act on your own convictions and faith. Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing blood? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Your name must be in the Book of Life if you want to exercise authority over devils.

2. You are operating in the name of Jesus which you profess and preach:

Monkeys play by sizes; stop acting before demons; act on the authority of the Lord. Don’t speak as a bishop or mighty man or anything! Just be you and act through the name of the Lord.

3. You must strive to receive rhema from God:

Rhema is that spoken word; that divinely inspired word of God that can enlighten a man to rise above the storms. This is what it takes. You must be persuaded and build your faith in the word of God. Your authority is enhanced by your understanding; the more word you know, the better positioned you are to tread on serpents and scorpions.

Listen! This is the time for us to soar above every creepy thing and to exercise your authority over the powers of darkness. You have what it takes and you must use it.

Prayer points

(Declare with me that God is good and His mercies endure forever! Sing of His goodness!) We declare that all glory belongs to God. Father! May Your name be praised! May Your name be adored! May the heavens declare Your glory! God, You are good and Your mercies endure forever!

(Say aloud with me to the father!) Dear Father, forgive our pride, forgive our fear, forgive our foolishness, and forgive our unbelief! Wash us in Your blood. Cleanse us by the water of the word, sanctify us and we will be clean. Forgive us and we will be forgiven.

(Say aloud!) In the name Jesus! In the mighty name of Jesus! We crush every creepy thing that is trying to creep in into our lives! I tread upon serpents and upon scorpions! I crush any satanic power that is trying to creep in now! We demolish and stamp out every rebellion and satanic aggression against our lives! We have the victory! We are more than conquerors! We will advance and we will win! In the name of Jesus Christ!
