In John 12:16, the Lord stated clearly that “if any man will serve me, let him follow”. You cannot claim to be serving the Lord if you cannot follow Him.
[Luke 8:1-4 KJV] “And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him, And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance. And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:”
The Bible says He went from town to town, village to village, and city to city, and he preached, healed, and empowered the people. And it adds that as the Lord traveled, His twelve were with Him, and certain women also followed Him.
The truth is that none of the people that followed Jesus was sick or oppressed by devils:
You cannot follow the Lord and be sick or oppressed. All those who follow received a touch and was liberated. Even those who followed and had a thorn in their flesh, received grace enough to continue in strength.
Everyone that followed and had a secular vocation had substance to minister:
You will never lack resources to minister to the needs of the mission. You will have enough to give. God will never forget your labour of love and selfless giving. Some gave their strength and others their substance.
None of those who followed rebelled:
They followed loyally until Satan entered into Judas, and also sought to sift Peter as wheat. I speak over you that the devil will not have access to any. We shall walk in grace and submission. The Lord shall intercede and pray for us.
Many gathered from every city because the twelve and certain others followed:
Those who gather came to hear and to be healed. I believe this is the day to arise and reach out.
Stay blessed; I love you!
